Why We Publish Our Prices (and Most HK Agencies Won't)
Why most agencies hide their prices
Ask for a web design quote in Hong Kong and you'll almost always hear: 'Every project is different — let's hop on a call first.' It sounds reasonable, but it's a sales technique: once they have your contact details and your time, they can price based on your budget and urgency rather than the work involved. The same website can get two very different prices depending on whether the buyer is a listed company or a cha chaan teng.
That model benefits the agency, not the client. Clients spend weeks in meetings only to discover they can't afford the quote — or that they overpaid without ever knowing.
The hidden cost of the quote game
The first cost is time: two to three weeks from first enquiry to a formal proposal. The second is information asymmetry: with no public reference point, you can't judge whether a quote is fair — you can only go by gut feel and a salesperson's tone. The third is scope creep: win low, charge more mid-project. It's the most common complaint in this industry.
Ironically, hiding prices hurts agencies too: hours wasted on enquiries with no budget and no decision-maker, endless proposals, low close rates.

Free SEO auditHow we price
We break our services into clear packages. Each one states what's included, what isn't, and the delivery timeline — all published on our services page. Prices are set by workload and technical complexity, not by the size of your company. A cha chaan teng and a listed company pay the same for the same package.
Some projects are genuinely bespoke — complex system integrations, for example. Those get a custom quote, but the baseline is still an extension of our public packages, so you can sanity-check the number against published prices.
Why transparency helps both sides
For clients: you know the budget range before you ever contact us — no three meetings to discover a mismatch. For us: the people who do reach out are serious and budget-aligned, so we spend our time on the work instead of on proposals. Public pricing is a two-way filter that saves everyone time.
Transparency has a healthy side effect too: it forces us to stay competitive. When your prices are public, overcharging shows immediately.
When you shouldn't choose us
Honestly, we're not the cheapest option. If you need a very simple one-page site on a tight budget, a template platform might make more sense — and we'll tell you so. Our value is bespoke design, technical depth and SEO/GEO results, not undercutting.
But if your website materially affects your business — it needs to rank, generate enquiries and convert — then transparent pricing plus verifiable results should be your minimum bar. If you want a baseline for how your current site performs, start with our free SEO audit.
