Hong Kong mobile app development
App Development Hong Kong
From idea to the App Store, one team
Resurrect Studio is a Hong Kong mobile app development team. We build native iOS and Android apps, cross-platform apps on React Native and Flutter, and progressive web apps (PWA). One team handles app UX/UI design, development, testing, App Store and Google Play submission, and maintenance after launch — and we integrate your app with your backend or Resurrect ERP so it works on your live business data. 10+ years of work, 400+ delivered projects, an AI-assisted delivery workflow.
Hong Kong SMEs can start with an MVP: ship the core loop first and let real users decide what version two earns.
What we build
Native, cross-platform or PWA — we pick the route that pays for your project, not a technology we happen to favour.
Native iOS & Android
Swift and Kotlin builds that get full device performance — camera, location, push, offline.
Cross-platform RN & Flutter
One codebase ships to both stores — faster and cheaper, and the sensible default for most business apps.
Progressive web apps
Web technology that installs like an app, updates instantly without store review — first choice for internal tools and fast launches.
App UI/UX design
Wireframes, prototypes and user flows — you press a working design before we write code.
Backend & ERP integration
APIs into your existing systems, payments and e-signature — or Resurrect ERP as the backend.
Store submission
App Store and Google Play review, screenshots, metadata and enterprise in-house distribution.
Maintenance & iteration
OS compatibility, crash monitoring, security patches and feature iterations.
MVP-to-launch
SMEs start with the minimum viable product: on the street in weeks, and the market decides what comes next.
Discovery to launch in five steps
Scope call
A fifteen-minute WhatsApp call: target users, the hypothesis to test, which platform pays first.
UX prototype
Wireframes to a tappable prototype — you see and press it before code exists.
MVP build
The core loop built on React Native or Flutter, sped up by our AI-assisted delivery workflow.
Test & submit
TestFlight and internal testing, then submission to App Store and Google Play review.
Launch & iterate
Crash monitoring and user feedback decide what version two earns.
An app that talks to your ERP moves the business
Too many apps launch as islands with data re-typed by hand. Besides building apps, we develop our own Resurrect ERP — sales, invoicing, CRM, accounting and warehouse in one system. Your app plugs into it by API, or into your existing backend.
Once connected:
- Sales raise quotations, check stock and pull customer records on the road
- Clients approve quotations in the app; the back office knows instantly
- Warehouse movements sync as they happen, not at end of day
- Push notifications for overdue receivables and new orders
One team designs both ends
The app UI and the backend data model come from the same full-stack team, so you never discover a backend that cannot support the finished app. API boundaries, offline sync and push triggers are settled at design time, not after launch.
Frequently asked
How much does app development cost in Hong Kong?
It depends on the platform (native or cross-platform), the number of features, and how deep the backend integration goes. A focused MVP and a full enterprise app are different budgets. Tell us the idea on WhatsApp — we scope it in one call and quote transparently, with no hidden line items.
Native or cross-platform — React Native or Flutter?
Native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) when you need maximum performance or deep hardware access — camera, Bluetooth, background location. Cross-platform with React Native or Flutter ships one codebase to both stores, which is faster and cheaper; for most business apps it is the sensible default. We recommend per project, not per habit.
What is a PWA, and does it need store submission?
A progressive web app is built with web technology but installs onto the phone like an app, with a home-screen icon and offline behaviour. No store review means updates go live instantly — strong for internal tools, forms and fast launches. If you later need app-store presence, the same product can graduate to React Native.
Can the app connect to our existing systems or an ERP?
Yes — API integration is core work for us: your existing backend, payment gateways, e-signature or portals. If you do not have a backend yet, we also build our own Resurrect ERP, so the app can talk to sales, invoicing, CRM, accounting and warehouse data from day one instead of becoming an island.
Do you handle App Store submission?
Yes. We set up or tidy the developer accounts, prepare screenshots, metadata and privacy declarations, and steer the app through App Store and Google Play review. Enterprise in-house distribution for staff-only apps is handled too.
Is there maintenance after launch?
Yes — OS version compatibility, crash monitoring, security patches and feature iterations. Mobile platforms move twice a year; we keep the app current instead of letting it decay on the store.
We are an SME — should we start with an MVP?
Usually yes. Build the core loop only, ship in weeks, and let real users tell you what version two needs. It is the cheapest way to test an app idea in the Hong Kong market before committing the full budget.
